Niche is plays important role in businesss and its success because it is related to target market. Niche is a a small speciallize part of the population. Example of niche: astronot, civil engineer, people who loves flowers, people with cats. 

Obviously every type of niche, e.g astronot, will have interest, anekdot or jaragons which only they understand. All these can be made into a business, since business usually starts with a a person's life. 

The application of this can be seen in everyday life. From show like Reebok for sports goods, Satrbucks for coffee, and Toys are us for toys.
