In order to make it work, your online shop should form an alliance usually with a established Wholeseller to be your supplier. Then, you choose a list of the supplier's best selling products as your products, with a markup ofcourse. 

 Therefore, instead of handling the production, packaging and the delivery yourselves, you let the supplier do that for you. All you need to do it upload the product images in your online shop and when an order comes in, you only need to pass on the order to the supplier. By doing this, you minimize the risk to the very minimum, because you do not have any expenses or loss except website and internet fees only.
