BAD AD (ADVERTISEMENT MISTAKES)  

Bad advertisement is the ones that does not effective. There are so many reasons why an ad did not do it's job, which is bringing the sales number up.  

Some people argue that there is no such thing as bad publicity. while some of these ads does not leave you with good feeling, they are controversial. Meaning that people, the internet and the news will talk about them. While controversy might go along with a "rogue" image, if that is the image of the product, but not really sure that controversy is a good idea. 

Here 10 commercials labeled bad simply because they are not effective. 


Not Memorable.
Have you ever seen ads that you can't remember? There are a few reasons why an ad is not memorable. They could be selling something that is not related to you. Perhaps not convincing enough to persuade you to purchase.

Pepsi 2017 ad with Kendal Jenner which spent million of dollars to make have to be taken down even before hit 24 hours upon its released.  The reason is because it minimize the importance of s movement, or exploit a movement for soda ad.

A loss of family member is always a sensitive issue. The idea of making an advertisement off a tragedy is insensitive.

Creepy 
An ad should convey message about its advantages compare to its compatitors and stimulate consumer to act. For that reason, an ad which only give viewer a sense of creepiness is not a good idea

Sexist
The idea of a person knows the standard of a perfect marrige or a healthy dynamic in a marrige is a sensitive issue. Moreover, conveying the impression that a spouse supposed to look a certain way is sexist. Adding to that is the controversy of body shaming. You mix those issues together, you have an ad that deliver more controversy than sales.

Taking advantage of a trending video is usually a smart move for advertising. However it did not go too well for this sub and the spongmonkeys, because they only labeled annoying. Then this ad only deliver a bad press and a good one

An ad suppose to convey the benefit of the product or service and stimulate the viewer to make a purchase. For that reason making an ad which consist of repetitive message does not always sell well.

Not related to the product

An ad featuring a series of scenes that is not related to the product it supposed to endorse will not sell. Actually, this particular ad is being banned.

Adding a label on particular culture usually branded racism. This ad is featuring panda which represent china complete with the chinese accent.
